I believe that my past experience has led me to this point. I&#8217;m grateful I have some time to figure out exactly what&#8217;s right for me. I&#8217;m also grateful to have known so many people who have led me here, either as a directly positive influence or by providing me with challenges to overcome and assumptions to re-evaluate.<\/p>\n<p>I like the fact that I can be a bit more informal in these blog posts. It&#8217;s more expected that personal thoughts take more of a journal form than does business communication. For example, I naturally write with contractions\u2014as I&#8217;m doing here.
